Welcome to the Curry Index!

The Curry Index is simple. Points are awarded for eating curry in accordance with the following rules:

• 100 points for each country in which an Indian meal has been consumed in an Indian restaurant
• 10 points for each town/ city in which an Indian meal has been consumed in an Indian restaurant
• 1 point for each unique Indian restaurant in which an Indian meal has been consumed
• 10 bonus points for adding consecutive restaurants with the same name to the index!
• Meals must be consumed with one or more friends, fellow travelers or work colleagues to qualify

Why? The aims of the Curry Index are even simpler than the rules [!] and can be summarised thus:

• To travel
• To be sociable
• To eat a lot of curry

If you follow these objectives you will acquire many points and be the envy of your fellow curry eaters!
